Health Care Reform legislation was passed through reconciliation and signed into law by President Obama on March 23, 2010. But does this bill really enable all Americans to have affordable health care or is this new entitlement plan unsustainable? While Democrats were touting a report by the Congressional Budget Office as the final vote on the health care legislation was about to occur, the Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius,was sitting on a report from Medicare's Office of the Actuary, which found the Democrat's health care bill would cause 14 million Americans to lose employer-based health coverage. This report submitted to Ms. Sebelius more than one week before the Congressional vote, reported that the legislation would actually increase the cost of health care and impose higher costs on consumers. According the HHS sources, Sebelius' staff refused to review the report before the vote was taken because they did not want to influence the vote. The Arizona Illegal Immigration Legislation is controversial, in part, because of it being mischaracterized by our president, many high-ranking politicians and our media. The Economy is said by some to be rebounding - but is it? Arthur Laffer, a supply-side economist known best for his Laffer curve, believes that the recent slight increase in economic growth is a sign of a sharp economic downturn in 2011. As the Bush tax cuts expire at the beginning of 2011, the increase in tax rates will have a negative impact on spending and investing. The current increase is because of businesses being incentivized to spend before the tax hikes go into effect. The Cloward-Piven Strategy is based on a theory developed by Columbia University Professor Richard Andres Cloward and his research associate Frances Fox Piven. It seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. In 1967, radical activist, George Wiley, founded the National Welfare Reform Organization to implement the Cloward-Piven Strategy by swamping welfare rolls with new applicants beyond what the system could bear. This effort played a major role in bankrupting New York City in 1975. Mentored by Wiley, William Radke founded ACORN. Radke sought to implement the Cloward-Piven strategy as a community organizer recruiting radicals to vote as Democrats, often fraudulently, in local and national elections. Funded heavily by George Soros, ACORN lobbied for minimal voter identification standards. Global Warming has been publicized by most of the politicians and media as proven science. However, as more facts come to light it appears that this is an issue that has more to do with political power and control than it does science. Emails were released that document scientists buried evidence that did not support the theory of man-made global warming. More and more scientists are going public with views of their skepticism about man's impact on our climate. However, this has not deterred our politicians from pursuing legislation that would limit carbon dioxide emissions at great cost to Americans and possibly devastating results to our economy.
