| 8/28 Restoring Honor On Saturday, August 28th hundreds of thousands of Americans gathered at the feet of the Lincoln Memorial for the Restoring Honor Rally organized by Fox News Channel television host and Connecticut resident Glenn Beck. The event was not a tea party and not about politics. The theme of the day can be summarized as a call for Americans to follow the directive outlined in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." |
Blue Tip Parade Float The Wadsworth 9.12 Group participated in Wadsworth's Blue Tip parade this year. The float represented government's abusive spending on entitlement programs. Tom Adams portrayed a corrupt politician that asked the parade watchers "not to worry about the 13 trillion dollar national debt." The float was very well recieved by most of the crowd. Thank you to everyone who assisted in the designing, building, and painting of the float and to all of the people who walked with us in the parade. |
